## About

I'm a software engineer at FedEx, working on generative AI: chat assistants, retrieval systems and the pipelines that deploy them. Outside work I fix bugs in open-source machine-learning and systems libraries, and build side projects with AI coding agents, where tests and review decide what stays.

- 2026 · [huggingface/transformers#42051](https://github.com/huggingface/transformers/pull/42051): Tokenizers shared one `model_input_names` list across instances, so changing it on one tokenizer silently changed every other one of that class.
- 2026 · [vllm-project/vllm#31057](https://github.com/vllm-project/vllm/pull/31057): CUDA-graph replay skipped the wait in layer-wise KV-cache loading, so attention could read cache data before it had arrived; those setups now fall back to piecewise graphs.
- 2025 · [lballabio/QuantLib#2410](https://github.com/lballabio/QuantLib/pull/2410): `GsrProcessCore` kept references to its input arrays, so the temporaries common in the Python bindings left them dangling and path generation crashed; it now keeps copies.
- 2025 · [jax-ml/jax#33602](https://github.com/jax-ml/jax/pull/33602): `jnp.arange` with a non-zero start was folded into a constant array, which made compile times blow up for large ranges; it now builds the range from `iota`.
